Eleven us attended the London Citizens Mayoral Accountability Assembly last night. The four main candidates standing for election on 1 May were in attendance, and challenged to demonstrate support for the Citizens’ Agenda covering street safety, low pay, affordable housing and the status of undocumented migrants in the capital. Westminster Central Hall was packed - with around 2,500 people present and there was a great atmosphere. All the candidates agreed to run with the proposals, with one or two minor qualifications, should they get elected. So let's see what happens on 1 May - make sure you go out and vote (find out all info here) - and let's keep working on these exciting campaigns that will ensure a better London for everyone.
