Within the
hope:asha community are a number of people who are keen to further explore the depths of Christian spirituality that can be found in the Bible and to try and model their lives on the example of Jesus Christ. And so there are groups that meet together every Thursday evening or Wednesday lunch time for a couple of hours to discuss and reflect together, to encourage and pray for each other, our community and the world and to consider how our lives can best serve God and those around us. It is often a group of around 5-8 people of diverse ages and backgrounds with varying knowledge of Christian traditions and practice. We meet in homes around Stepney (and occasionally in a local cafe) and the time we spend together is both inspiring as well as social, fun as well as ultimately life-affirming. It is an open group and anyone is welcome to join in.
The photo attached is of an exercise we shared together, thinking of things we wanted to thank God for! A bigger version of the photo can be seen by clicking on it.
