Yesterday was great for a number of reasons! It started off at Booth House Lifehouse - where we gathered together to pray. We received the Olympic prayer torch that is being passed around Salvation Army centres and churches in London. We prayed for the work of Booth House and Hope Town before heading up Whitechapel Road with the torch on our way to Stepney Park. At the park we had a picnic - dodging the rain showers and enjoying good food and great company. We even sang some songs accompanied by a banjo, mandolin, guitar, bongos and a harmonica! Good times - God with us, between us and in us.
