On Friday our two football teams came together to play each other in a crunch match! The Wednesday Street Soccer team, made up of guys from Whitechapel Mission and Booth House deserved a hard-earned victory, winning 7-6 against our Monday night Community Football team. It was an inspired performance by the eventual winners who came from behind in the last minutes of the game to secure victory. After the event we had a short presentation with man of the match going to Santos for a solid performance throughout and 2 great goals.
Street Soccer is a new project run in partnership with Ambassadors in Sport and the Good Shepherd Mission.
