Family breakfast

Sunday's 'Mother's Day Breakfast' felt just like a big family getting together. There were children aged four up to adults in their 90s and everything in between. The sun streamed through the windows and the food was excellent thanks to Ken and Carl in the kitchen. This is community life at its best - people just enjoying being with one another and having a good time and eating tasty food. Further photos can be seen here - you may like to check out the evidence of the boys in the kitchen!

If Mother's Day is about anything it's about people looking after one another, whether that's a mother, sister, son, neighbour or friend. Ultimately, it's about God's care for us and the people he gives us to make our lives easier. And so we say thank you.
