For the past four years or so we've facilitated a group for parents/carers and pre-school children called Paintbox. It is like lots of 'parent and toddler' groups in that it provides a place to meet with other parents of small children and an easy way for adults to engage in play with the children in their care. However, what people tend to enjoy about it the most is that children are allowed (even encouraged) to get as messy as they like in indulging their creative side! There's plenty of stuff to play with including paint, water, sand, shaving foam, even mud on occasions. There's always a craft activity, a sticking activity and plenty of playdough to go round.We also pride ourselves on getting a really good mix of people from around the globe enjoying being together. Our song time at the end can be particularly fun with nursery rhymes from almost every continent!
